The aim of the project is to create a plan for the use of the coastal area and a vision for future development based on the vision of locals.

In order for Engure residents and guests to have clear boundaries of the coastal area, as well as a vision for development, we want to stimulate public discussion about the current use of the coast and its future development strategy. During the project, a common future vision for the development of the Engure coastal area will be formed, based on the opinions and vision of the residents, as well as the municipal plans, summarizing and describing the obtained opinions in the Engure coastal development strategy document. The developed material will be presented in the municipality so that it can be used as a reference for the community's opinion.

Within the framework of the project, a document will be developed describing the zoning of the Engure coastal area and restrictions on its use. The developed document will define the current coastal zoning, describe the rules and prohibitions of the use of the zones. The set of restrictions will be developed in consultation with the stakeholders involved (municipality, fishermen, sailors, entrepreneurs, recreational residents and the rest of the population). The rules will also be visualized in explanatory infographics - digital files to be published on social networks. The coastal zones owned by the municipality will be the subject of an open discussion between different groups of the population in order to agree on the best purpose for their use and a strategy for future development.

Within the framework of the project, each inhabitant of Engure will have the opportunity to be involved in zoning discussions, express their opinion, be heard, as well as participate in the development of the future vision and understand the opinion of other inhabitants.
